In case a user cannot provide appropriate email address ending with the given extensions, he/she will be immediately notified that the email address he/she has entered does not seem to be valid and would be asked to enter a valid email address. For example: abcd.efg does not seem to be a valid email address whereas narayan.dahal@gmail.com could be.
At any time, if the user wants to change his or her email address, he or she will be given access to the site only after new email address is verified.

2. Password:

Password will have a guideline which every user has to abide by. The guidelines are:
- It should contain at least one Upper class letter and at least one number.
- The password should not contain users name or email address
In the confirm password section, if the user does not enter the same password as entered before, he/she will be notified straight away that the password does not match.
At any time if the user forgets his or her password, he or she will have to enter a new password.

3. Gender:

Gender of a user can either be male or female and nothing else.

4. Date of Birth:

Date of birth of a user shall be in Day, Month and Year format in AD and in the same order as specified here. Date of Birth in BS will not be accepted.
While entering date of birth during registration, if a user is found to be less than 21 years (in case of male member) and 18 years (in case of female member, he or she will not be eligible to sign up with barbadhu.com.
Upon entering the date of birth not eligible to sign up with barbadhu.com, he or she will be notified straightaway that the user does not seem to be 21 years (male) and 18 years (female) and that the user cannot sign up until the user is of an eligible age. The verification of eligible age shall be done during identity verification of user by customer support representative.
If a user has entered a date of birth which does not match with the date of birth of his or her identity document, he or she will be notified by the customer support representative that date of birth entered by user does not match with the date of birth shown in the identity document. In such a case, the user has to fill in consent form stating he or she is authorizing customer support representative to fill in date of birth as is shown in the identity document and should email the consent form along to info@barbadhu.com.
If the date of birth entered by the user does not match with the date of birth shown in his or her identity, and if the date of birth as seen in the identity document shows user is less than 21 years old (in case of male members) and 18 years old (in case of female members), his or her account will be automatically suspended and the user will be notified about the same through email address provided by the user. To continue using barbadhu.com again in the future when he or she is eligible, the user has to continue with the formal registration process.

5 Phone Number:

The Phone Number will start with the country code which the user has to choose from the list of countries and followed by Phone Number. For example: Nepal (+977) 1234567890, The phone number entered by the user will be saved and sms verification code will be sent to the user once he enters into phone verification step.
If the country code does not match with the starting phone number, he or she will be notified immediately that the number is not valid for the particular country she or he has selected. For example: if the phone number is in the form of [Nepal] [04XXXXXXXX] than he or she will be notified that the phone number does not exist in the country as the phone number in Nepal cannot start with 0 or 4.
At any times if the user wants to change his phone number, his phone number will have to be compulsorily verified to access the site. The user cannot access the site if his or her phone number is not verified.

6. Profile Created For

Profile created for will have options which a user has to choose from. The user himself or herself as well as the nearest member of the user can create profile of the user. These nearest members can be father, mother, brother and sister. In case a customer support representative is not convinced about the relation of the user with profile creating user, he or she might restrict the access of the user to the site. In such a case, the user has to provide a relationship certificate to the customer support representative showing relationship between account creating member and the user. Only if customer support representative is convinced about the genuine relationship, he or she will allow the user or member to access the site.

7. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy

After user has filled every detail in the sign up section, he or she has to read, understand and tick in terms and conditions and privacy policy acceptance tick box before he can sign up into barbadhu.com.
Any user who does not accept the terms and conditions and privacy policy of barbadhu.com cannot sign up to barbadhu.com or use any of its services.

B EMAIL VERIFICATION:

D BASIC DETAILS

1 Citizen Of

Barbadhu.com is meant for the people of Nepali origin living around the globe. It might therefore not be necessary to include citizen of section in the form. But, in recent times many Nepalese people have either acquired citizenship of foreign countries or are born in foreign land. This section is therefore to help user to proudly choose the country of their citizenship and not forcefully consider them as the citizen of Nepal in the form or regard his or her citizenship as Nepalese in his or her profile. If a user has dual citizenship, he or she can fill in the form by considering him or her as the citizen of any of those two countries unless ambiguity is seen between the country of citizenship chosen and verification document supplied while filling out the form:

The user has to choose from the list of countries where he or she is the citizen of. The user has the right to choose one country among his or her countries of citizenship but at no circumstance, he or she can choose more than one country of citizenship.
If a user has wrongfully filled in citizenship of different country, he or she can make the change by going to edit profile on his or her user dashboard.
The country of citizenship chosen and the verification document supplied to barbadhu.com should match with each other and should have a valid expiry date. For example: If a user has chosen Australia as the country of citizenship and if he or she provides Nepalese passport as the verification document, it will not be considered for verification. He or she has to provide verification document of the country where he or she is/considers himself or herself as the citizen of.

2 Religion:

A user has to choose his/her religion from list of Religions provided by barbadhu.com.
A user can change his or her religion from edit profile section of barbadhu.com

3 Caste

The user has to compulsorily choose his caste in the caste section while filling his or her basic details.
In case his/her caste is not in the list, he/she has to choose other option.
A user can change his or her caste from edit profile section of barbadhu.com
A user cannot fill in his or her caste if he or she has not selected or chosen his or her religion.

4 Gotra

Gotra is equally important in Hindu Matrimony, especially with Nepalese Matchmaking. A person belonging to most of the castes of Nepal is/are restricted to marry a boy or girl of same Gotra or his or her maternal gotra. Gotra is therefore Significant in matchmaking. Even if perspective bride or groom is of different caste, if his or her gotra (including maternal gotra) match with each other, it is believed to be inauspicious for marriage.

Upon selection of caste, a user has to choose his or her gotra from the list of gotras available in gotra section of barbadhu.com.
If a user does not find his or her gotra in the list, he or she should have to choose “other” option.
If a user is not sure about his or her gotra, he has the right to choose don’t know option.
A user can change his or her gotra anytime by going to edit my profile section of barbadhu.com.

5 Marital Status

While filling out the form, a user has to choose his current marital status in the form from the list of marital status available in barbadhu.com. Marital status of a user is one of the most important basic details of a user. While choosing marital status of the user by him or her or by any of its authorized parental members, nobody should provide false information about the marital status of the user.

The user has to choose his or her marital status from the list of marital status available.
If the user chooses his or her marital status as Divorced, waiting divorce or annulled, two blank spaces will appear next to marital status one asking for number of children and another asking for number of boys which the user has to choose from the list. The user will have to provide correct information about his or her number of children if he or she has. E LOCATION DETAILS

Working for refers to the type of organization the user is currently working with. The organization could be government, private companies and such.

If the user has chosen his or her employment status as employed, he or she should have to choose what type of organization he or she is working with from the list of working for options available in barbadhu.com.
If the user selects unemployed or studying in his or her employment status, working for will automatically fill in none in the section and the user cannot change working for status until his or her employment status changes to employed.
If the user is self employed, working for will automatically fill in myself and the user cannot change his or her working for status until he changes his or her employment status as employed
If a user works for a different type of organization from what he or she is working at the moment, he or she can change his or her employment status in the future and should have to choose his or her working for status from the list of options by going to edit my profile section of barbadhu.com.

Age of the user is self-generated from the date of birth entered in sign up page of barbadhu.com
Age of the user can only change if date of birth of user is changed.

2. Height

The user can choose his or her height from the list of heights available in heights section of barbadhu.com.
A user can change his or her height anytime in the future by going to edit my profile section of barbadhu.com.

3. Body Type

The user has to choose his or her body type from the list of body types in this section of barbadhu.com
We understand that, with exercise body type of user might change in the future. Therefore, a user can change his or her body type in the future by going to edit my profile section of barbadhu.com.

4. Body Complexion.

The user has to choose his or her body complexion from the list of body complexions in this section of barbadhu.com

The user has to choose his or her number of siblings from the list.

5. Surname of Maternal Father

The user has to fill in surname of maternal father manually.

6. His Gotra

J UPLOAD YOUR IMAGE

After user has filled in his or her details, he or she should have to upload his or her image in barbadhu.com. There are certain guidelines a user has to follow while uploading his or her photographs. The Guidelines are listed below:

Photos can be uploaded into barbadhu.com either by going to upload section and choosing photos from specific drive in the computer or mobile phone.
Photos can also be emailed to info@barbadhu.com. While sending photos via email, a user has to mention his or her full Name, Date of Birth and profile ID in the email.
Photos can also be uploaded or imported from facebook.
A user can upload a maximum of 3 photos of him or her in his or her profile.

While Uploading photos, the user has to be mindful of the fact that:

He or she uploads his or her recent photo/photos not older than 3 months.
He or she can choose between a full view image or close up image.
The face of the user should be in focus in his or her photograph.
The user cannot upload group photo as his or her profile photo.
The user does not upload his or her image if it is blurring.
The user does not upload his or her photo where he or she is facing sideways or upside down.
The user uploads clear image of his or her own free of watermarks, digital enhancement, signs, symbols, logos, personal information and holding anything (for example: Holding a cigarette).
The user does not upload irrelevant photos of celebrity or obscene photos.

If a user wants to change his or her photograph or add more photographs, he or she can do so by going to manage photos section of Dashboard.

If a user is found to have uploaded any obscene photographs, his or her profile might be suspended for at least one month to a period depending upon the motive of the customer support representative.

K EXPRESS YOURSELF IN FEW WORDS

This section is designed to assist user to express himself or herself in few words. Following are the guidelines to be followed while expressing about him or her:

He or she should not include his or her name.
He or she should not include his or her bank details.
He or she should not include any obscene words.
He or she should not include his or her personal number or email Id or any such contact details.
He or she should not include any clip art or image.
This section should be a short summary of him or her and character count should range from a minimum of 50 words to a maximum of 200 Words.
If the user wants to edit this section later, he or she can do it by going to edit my profile section of barbadhu.com
The details filled by the user in express yourself shall go through screening process before it appears in the user profile.

L IDENTITY VERIFICATION

This is another verification process which a user has to go through. In this verification process, a user has to upload his or her identification documents in barbadhu.com.

M FACEBOOK ID VERIFICATION

This is the last verification process where a user has to verify his or her facebook ID.
The user has to login to facebook using his or her ID and password to verify his or her facebook ID.

N MATCHES

In matches section of barbadhu.com, you will find your matches based on profile particulars you have entered while creating your account or creating your profile. After you have set your partner preferences, your matches will be listed based on your partner preferences and not based on your profile particulars. The hierarchy of matches will be in the order of a member matching with majority of your profile particulars or partner preferences appearing first followed by members matching with lesser of the same.

Barbadhu.com will also allow its user to shortlist a match. If you feel one of your matches could be of your choice, you can shortlist him or her. This will be saved in the section of shortlisted matches.
